The little things
that mean a lot

About the Book
I belong to a writers group that meets every Friday afternoon. We’ve been together for over ten years, so it’s easy to stray from critiquing writing in favor of socializing. To keep us focused, we made a rule that if you don’t bring something to read, you must bring food for the group. The rule works.
One Thursday evening I sat at my computer and stared at the blank screen. I couldn’t think of anything to write, so I began thinking about my friends and what made each one special to me. |
|
| Wanting to capture those good thoughts, I began typing a list of one-liners about my friends. Almost immediately I had forty-four ways my friends enriched my life. The title, Why I Am Blessed to Have You As A Friend, came just as easily.
My writers group helped me round the list to fifty, and this book is the final result. Browse inside the book and see if any of your friends are here. I’ll bet they are. Many buy multiple copies so they can give one to each friend who’s been a blessing to them. Don’t forget to get one for yourself to remind you how to be a good friend too.
Blessings,
Sharron Stockhausen
